Pricing for Hyundai's redesigned 2021 Elantra compact sedan starts at $20,645 and ranges up to $29,095. The expanded lineup now includes a hybrid powertrain, and the sporty version with a turbocharged engine now wears the N-Line moniker (it was previously called the Elantra Sport). The Elantra GT hatchback model has been discontinued and won't return for 2021
The standard 2021 Elantra comes with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter inline-four with 147 horsepower that promises up to 37 mpg combined. It starts off with the $20,645 SE model and also offers the better equipped $21,895 SEL and $26,445 Limited trim levels. All offer a continuously variable automatic transmission
The Elantra hybrid carries a $2650 premium over the conventional model, and starts off with the $24,545 SEL hybrid trim. Hyundai estimates a combined EPA fuel-economy number of 50 mpg, and the hybrid offers a combined 139 horsepower. It's also available in Limited spec, which costs $29,095
