New 2021 Kia Sorento Hybrid SUV Experience Reviews

Kia Sorento Hybrid to join Toyota Clogger and Hyundai Santa Fe hybrids next year

New 2021 Kia Sorento Hybrid SUV Experience Reviews

2021 Kia Sorento

The new Kia Sorento will be offered with both hybrid and hybrid engines, arriving in early 2021 to compete with the Toyota Clogger and the gasoline-powered Hyundai Santa Fe

The search for a seven-seater hybrid SUV will be spoiled for the 2021 Kia Sorento to choose from next year, with no fewer than three models to choose from among the major brands

Plus an updated Toyota Kluger and Hyundai Santa Fe - both of which will be available in hybrid power for the first time

Kia has confirmed that the all-new Sorento will have a choice of both conventional and conventional hybrid power

Kia confirmed the arrival of two eco models during this week's media preview for the all-new Sorento

The 2021 Kia Sorento hybrid is likely to be equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine, as well as a 67 kWh electric motor and a 14 kWh battery

In fully-electric mode, the plug-in hybrid Sorento is expected to mimic the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, with around 40 km of range

The conventional hybrid powertrain will also use a 1.6-litre petrol turbo engine, but instead will be mated to a 44kW electric motor and 1.5kWh battery to improve fuel consumption and reduce emissions

Both powertrains will be fitted with six-speed automatic, however it's unknown at this early stage whether the Sorento Hybrid models will be available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive

The arrival of the Kia Sorento Hybrid in early 2021 positions the model against the Toyota Kluger Hybrid, also due in the new year, while Hyundai's hybrid offering will be coming in the middle of the year
