2021 Hyundai Tucson: a crossovers SUV

2021 Hyundai Tucson

Since its debut in 2004, the Hyundai Tucson nameplate has proven very successful for the Korean brand, helping it compete against some of the segment's most popular crossovers over the past 16 years.

We should get a brand new, fourth-generation Tucson before the end of this year, and its styling is reportedly influenced by the stunning Vision T Concept

According to Hyundai, the Vision T is “the most avant-garde, the sportiest, freshest and most dynamic” CUV they’ve ever designed, which bodes well for the Tucson

Hyundai has already confirmed that its upcoming crossover SUV range will borrow styling cues from the Vision T concept

So what can we expect? According to the spy photos and videos, these latest renderings by Kolesa that have been edited to take into account all the last details we've seen in the prototypes can be very subtle. The front end and the various side design elements are recognizable as far as real-world prototypes are concerned, while the back should look a bit like this as well

North American buyers should get the 2021 Tucson with a 2.5-liter Theta3 engine, in both turbocharged and naturally-aspirated form – it will work alongside an eight-speed automatic gearbox. We could also see a Hybrid variant, possibly powered by the 2.0-liter GDI unit from the Sonata Hybrid, where it puts down 192 HP

As for Europe, expect 1.6-liter T-GDI and 1.6-liter GDI petrol engines, as well as 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter CRDi diesels. Both 2WD and 4WD setups will be available
