BMW has unveiled its all-new 4 Series Coupe, which forms the basis of the upcoming BMW M4 cars, and will fight it with the Audi A5 and Mercedes C-Class Coupe when it goes

on sale in Australia

Designed to create more of stylistic gap between it and the closely-related 3 Series sedan, the new-look BMW 4 Series is heavily influenced by the controversial Concept 4 revealed back at the 2019 Frankfurt show

Production of the Series 4 wears a more vertical and ultra-sized shape on the famous BMW kidney-shaped grille, which is alleged to be a tribute to the BMW 328 sports car


Based on the same CLAR platform as the latest Series 3, the new BMW 4 Series looks more elegant in profile and interspersed with a luxurious back end



BMW 4 Series designers gave a larger pair of LED taillamps and a rear bumper that included a dual exit exhaust and a small diffuser

For European markets, the Series 4 will go on sale with only three petrol and diesel engines



Unlike the 3 Series group, there is a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol with four cylinders with either 135 kW (420i) or 189kW (430i) and a 2.0-liter turbo diesel, thanks to BMW's mild 48-volt hybrid technology that produces 140 kW (420 d) and can average Its speed is 3.9 liters / 100 kilometers



The top of the BMW 4 Series tree, until the next M4 arrival, is the M440i xDrive all-wheel drive that is powered by a mild 48-volt 3.0-liter hybrid engine and a six-cylinder turbo petrol producing 275 kilowatts of power and 500 Nm of torque
