Mitsubishi Pajero is a new model inclined to 2021

A new report from Japan claims that the new generation model will be released in 2021

According to a report on Spyder7 (which we came across thanks to hardworking people at CarsGuide, the fifth generation of Pajero is slated to reach the primary markets either in late 2021 or early 2022

In 2019, Mitsubishi announced that the Pajero board would be discontinued on its domestic market in Japan, and the launch of the "Final Edition" model to see the 37-year-old badge. However, the SUV has been used in other markets, including here in South Africa where it was last updated in October 2014

New information released by Spyder7 indicates that the new Pajero will derive its desire from a hybrid generation kit consisting of a 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol engine and a pair of electric motors. The hybrid arrangement (already used by Outlander PHEV) tends to offer a fully electric driving range of 75 km

According to the report, the new Pajero will be installed on a last-generation "ladder frame", with Mitsubishi ready to extend the wheelbase while maintaining the overall length of the vehicle. Earlier reports from Australia claimed that Pajerocould share its platform with the next-generation Nissan Patrol

In South Africa, the Pajero Group currently includes a three-door GLS derivative and a five-door GLS Exceed variable, priced at R709995 and R799995, respectively
